I didn't choose Architecture on a whim. The choice had always been a purposeful intention driven by significant aspects of my life. From a young age , I knew that I would pursue a carrier in design. I was passionate about the world of architecture since I was 10 years old and I have been exposed with few aspect of architecture by my dad. Since he’s an architect, I got interested on the his carrier and I would like to continue my father legacy.

 

                    As I enjoy learning art and and technical drawing in my primary school. In retrospect, seeing how I immerse my inquisitive mind in how an architect design building base on certain concept that make the building more function and become the iconic building around the world, I decided to pursue an architecture degree for my higher education. An Architect for me, plays a pivotal role where vast knowledge of designing and developing must not only be equipped but also the mastery of solving problems and thriving on challenges thrown upon.That’s why I choose this course because I want to gained more knowledge about design and architecture to become successful architect.

 

                    I obtain my Diploma in Architecture at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. I spent a challenging yet wonderful three years gaining knowledge about designing spaces, building structure and construction. Spending weeks of night less days at the studio is not something I dread nor appalled, instead I regarded it as an achievement, completion of my works that I take pride in. I have been taught many subjects where I learn to use several important software such Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Lumion, SketchUp and also working drawing including its detailing. I very much enjoy studying conceptual diagram, space planning, design strategies and model making explaining my ardent participation in model making group projects and site analysis for these past three years.

 

                    During my graduate studies, I taught myself a clever balance of my academic and extracurricular knowledge. I was actually one of the active students participating in the architectural competition. In 2020, I had the opportunity to participate in the MRT TRANSEAT Bench Design Competition organized by Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). In 2021, I also participated in the PAM Annual Architecture Student Works Exhibition and won the 3rd place in the 3D Architecture Animation organized by "Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia" (PAM). I also had the opportunity to join AHA Architect for up to 6 months. There, I learned to apply a number of skills, particularly interpersonal communication in the workplace, extensive hands-on experience supporting projects and drawing, and working under the supervision of a licensed professional.

 

                    In addition to the UK's higher education system and qualifications are highly valued Malaysian Council of Architects, I personally choose to continue my studies here because I believe it will be great Help me build my career opportunities. With good modern facilities, revolutionary teaching style and excellent learning standards, I believe that if I become a student, I will gain extraordinary understanding Excellent architect. Also, this will allow me to become an international student here to expand my Improve perceptions of social and cultural diversity as well as my personal development and life skills. when By the way, the UK has always been my dream country to study architecture degree and may the dream lead me to be a successful man whom his parents and country are very much proud of.
